Why I Released the Source Code
Hey there, folks! You know what? I’ve decided to release the source code because I truly believe in the power of community collaboration. Hopefully, others will jump in and help with the refactoring process because, let me tell you, it’s been a massive undertaking. I’ve been pouring countless hours into this project, and it’s starting to take its toll. Additionally, I’m really hoping someone can tackle the deobfuscation of the packets for use with rsmod. Tomm, as always, is absolutely crushing it with his contributions!
Building the Perfect Client
Now, when it comes to building this client, I suggest you have a decent setup ready to go. Let’s face it, creating something this intricate requires a bit of technical know-how. Runelite has a ton of quality-of-life changes that the mobile client is still missing out on. Sure, the mobile client is great because it allows us to play on the go, and it runs at a smooth 60fps. But beyond that, there are some areas where it falls short. Our scripts, however, are designed to work seamlessly with both Runelite and the mobile OSRS (via LDPlayer). We’re a community-driven group, and we take pride in delivering the safest and most effective botting methods available today.
Installing Raid for Free
For those of you interested in trying out Raid, you can download it for free on iOS, Android, and PC. Before OSRS Mobile came along, someone had put together a guide on how to run Runescape via Termux and a VNC viewer on Android. Back then, the performance was pretty rough. It was definitely over my head, especially when it came to finding the right drivers for ARM. But tools like Andronix have made it a lot easier to get started. Mobile is a critical focus for us, but given the vast array of devices out there, it takes a bit more time to ensure everything runs smoothly across the board.

Runelite Mobile Updates
Recently, we rolled out some updates to the mobile client, and I wanted to share our progress with all of you. A user even shared a screenshot of Runelite Mobile running on the Steam Deck, a portable gaming console that can handle PC games. Other users chimed in with their thoughts on the performance, controls, battery life, and compatibility of Runelite Mobile on the Steam Deck. Jagex also dropped some info about an upcoming mobile client that will feature useful plugins and overlays. The new client will include buff bars, agility overlays, and more, enhancing the overall experience.
Why Runelite is Still King
I’m 100% mobile, and I can confidently say that Runelite would make things a lot easier. Since they added timers for Tears and Hunter traps, along with other features, it’s become much more manageable for mobile users. However, when it comes to overall efficiency, Runelite still takes the crown. It shows kill counts, drops, and prices from the monsters you defeat, along with boost timers, enemy HP, and other useful overlays. Today, I’m going to walk you through how to run Runelite on your phone or tablet. I’m using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with a keyboard cover, and it’s been a game-changer.
Steam Link for Runelite
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but if you set Steam to load the Runelite client, it’s super easy and only takes a couple of minutes. Then, by downloading the “Steam Link” app, you can load up Runelite on your phone or iPad with all your settings intact. On the right side of the screen, you’ll notice one of our newest additions: the popout panel. This concept was borrowed from Runelite and is loved by many. Unfortunately, its familiar position doesn’t translate well to mobile, which is why it’s not enabled by default.
Mobile OSRS Features
Mobile Old School Runescape has added some incredible features that even Runelite doesn’t have. And the best part? You can easily import some of your Runelite settings. We’d love to hear how you use Runelite, so feel free to share your experiences. Mobile Old School Runescape is a client designed specifically for Android and iOS platforms, allowing players to enjoy the game for free on their devices.
Exploring the Plugin Hub
The Plugin Hub is a repository of plugins created and maintained by community members who aren’t officially affiliated with Runelite. These plugins are verified by Runelite developers to ensure they comply with Jagex’s third-party client rules and aren’t malicious. Much like the Runelite panel, this new inclusion gives you loads of features and options, including XP tracking, ground item indicators, and all the future additions we plan to make. Current mobile players are already familiar with the new popout panel, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic addition to the mobile experience.
